Nordhorn, January 6, 2020 – CA Brill GmbH has taken over Hild-Löbbecke GmbH from Bottrop as of January 1, 2020. This merger makes the company one of the largest technical wholesalers in north-west Germany for welding technology, industrial supplies, occupational safety, tools and building hardware.

With 40 years of company history, Hild-Löbbecke GmbH is a recognized specialist in the field of welding technology and industrial supplies. “In particular, the highly specialized welding technology with a wide range of services is remarkable and complements our activities perfectly. In addition, we can make excellent use of the Bottrop site as a logistics hub for our activities in this region,” explains Jens Brill, Managing Director of CA Brill GmbH, “The full integration of operational activities into the CA Brill IT and logistics landscape is planned for 2020 and will bring considerable synergy effects in the coming years, from which our joint customers, employees and suppliers will benefit disproportionately,” Jens Brill is certain.

As part of the integration, the name Hild-Löbbecke will continue to be used for all customers at the Bottrop site. Uwe Kloss, the previous owner of Hild-Löbbecke GmbH, will be responsible for the activities at the Bottrop site as an additional managing director of CA Brill GmbH. “I am very pleased to have found a partner in the family-owned company CA Brill GmbH who, with our support, will bring our life’s work safely into the future,” explains Uwe Kloss, Managing Director of Hild-Löbbecke GmbH, “we are convinced that the bundling of our expertise will lead to disproportionately high growth.”

Through the merger, CA Brill GmbH and Hild-Löbbecke GmbH are significantly strengthening their expertise as technical wholesalers for welding technology, building hardware and industrial products for trade and industrial customers. With 150 employees, the two companies generate a combined turnover of more than 50 million euros at their sites in Leer, Nordhorn and Bottrop, of which around a third is already realized through digital order processing and customer connections.
