CA Brill GmbH further expands business activities

Nordhorn, June 2021 – CA Brill GmbH, a technical wholesaler for industrial supplies, welding technology and building hardware, has taken over the Linde welding technology sites Martens in Rastede, Baumberger in Coesfeld, Hoffmann & Westphal in Aachen and Donath in Eschweiler.

Despite the difficult coronavirus conditions, CA Brill GmbH from Nordhorn has used the last few months to expand and restructure its business activities. The starting signal was the merger with Hild-Löbbecke GmbH in Bottrop at the end of 2019, closely followed by the current takeover of the Linde Schweißtechnik sites.

“The mergers have enabled us to significantly upgrade the specialist areas of welding technology, service workshops and industrial supplies, while at the same time creating further expansion opportunities for the specialist area of building hardware,” explains Jens Brill, Managing Director of CA Brill GmbH. “We are thus consistently following our motto ‘Standstill means regression’. Now our customers from the Rhineland to the Ruhr area to the North Sea coast benefit from a comprehensive service, various workshop services combined with specialist technical advice and an optimised material supply through our central logistics. Our offering is underpinned by a wide range of digital services such as Brillshop.de, Easy Scan and UVV Cloud solutions as well as EDI customer connections.”

In order to be able to continue to develop all business areas in a structured manner in the future and maintain the respective local identity, the individual divisions have been brought together under the umbrella of the BRILLGROUP. The clear aim here is to exploit synergy effects such as purchasing, cost, organisational and central logistics benefits for customers, but of course also for all employees and suppliers. While the company is constantly evolving, all business units are already working on the same IT platform and corporate infrastructure.

The merger creates one of the largest suppliers of welding technology, industrial supplies, PPE and building hardware with six locations in northern and western Germany. With around 170 employees, the BRILLGROUP now offers its customers and suppliers even better specialist advice, top service and digital expertise, always with the clear aim of creating significant “added value” for everyone involved through the company’s services. Of course, the basis for all activities continues to be the family business CA Brill with all the values it stands for.
